Analog Dimmer
In contemporary lighting systems, dimming is achieved by many techniques. A large variety of lamps depend on 0-10V analog dimming signals. In the AMIE smart home ecosystem, Analog Dimmer is the solution for dimming such lamps. Each analog dimmer receives the dimming command from the HUB and generates a corresponding 0-10V analog dimming voltage which can be fed to the lamps. LED Dimmable drivers with 0-10V input is one such device which can be controlled using the Analog Dimmer Endpoint.
In addition to the 0-10V control signal, this endpoint also has an isolated relay built in, which can be used to cut off power to LED drivers at 0% setting. This ensures the LED lights to be completely off and avoid residue current common in some LED drivers.
